Eyebrow Procedures

We have Nano Combo Brows, Nano Strokes Microblading, Microblading, Combo Brows, Ombre Powder Brows (Microshading), and Correctional Services.

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure where a special handheld microblading eyebrow pen is used to draw on strokes that mimic the appearance of real brow hair. Microshading is a semi-permanent makeup technique where a using a permanent makeup device is used to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup.

We recommend biannual touch up, after the initial complementary touchup, to maintain the crispness and freshness of the color. Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolizes it out of your system. Bonus – it doesn’t wash off or smudge, and it lasts up to 6 years.

Lip Procedures

This is a specialized treatment that is performed on clients with darker skin tones or those whose lips have darkened over time due to weather conditions, hyperpigmentation, or underlying medical issues. It involves injecting neutralizing ink pigments into the lip area to balance darker tones and enhance the natural lip colour, shape, and symmetry.

It creates lighter, pinker-looking lips, meaning the amount of time spent applying lipstick, lip liner and lip-gloss to the area is significantly reduced. Additionally, it boosts pigmentation in dark or ageing lips, enhances lip symmetry and colour-correct scarring.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment (melanin) in hair follicles with highly concentrated light energy. The heat from the laser damages the hair follicle, inhibiting or delaying future hair growth. The procedure is most effective on individuals with dark hair and light skin since the contrast between the hair and skin tones allows the laser to target the hair follicles more precisely while minimizing damage to the surrounding skin.

While laser hair removal can significantly reduce hair growth, it is considered a semi-permanent hair reduction method rather than a permanent removal. Some hair may regrow over time, but it’s typically finer and lighter in color. Multiple treatment sessions are usually required to target hair follicles in different stages of growth effectively. Maintenance sessions may also be needed periodically to sustain the results and manage any regrowth.

Laser hair removal can be safe for most skin types when performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner using appropriate laser technology. However, individuals with darker skin tones or those with certain medical conditions may be at a higher risk of adverse effects such as pigmentation changes, burns, or scarring.

Scalp Micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation is a non-invasive cosmetic tattooing procedure that involves the application of tiny pigment deposits to the scalp. It is primarily used to create the illusion of a fuller head of hair by replicating the appearance of hair follicles, camouflaging baldness, thinning hair, or scars on the scalp. The procedure can be customized to match your natural hair color and desired hairline, creating a natural-looking result.

Scalp Micropigmentation can be a suitable option for both men and women experiencing various forms of hair loss, including male pattern baldness, female pattern hair loss, alopecia, and scarring alopecia. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain skin conditions, such as psoriasis or eczema, or those with extremely sensitive skin.

Scalp Micropigmentation is considered a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure. While the pigment is implanted into the upper layers of the skin, it will gradually fade over time due to factors such as sun exposure, natural skin exfoliation, and individual skin characteristics. Typically, SMP results can last anywhere from 2 to 5 years before requiring a touch-up or maintenance session to refresh the pigment and maintain the desired appearance.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening typically involves the use of bleaching agents such as hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to break apart stains on the enamel (the outer layer of the tooth). These agents penetrate the enamel and react with the discolored molecules, breaking them down and lightening the color of the teeth. Some methods also involve the use of light or heat to accelerate the whitening process.

The longevity of teeth whitening results varies depending on factors such as the method used, individual habits, and diet. In-office whitening treatments can provide immediate results that last anywhere from six months to two years, while at-home kits may require regular maintenance to sustain the whitening effect. Avoiding foods and beverages that stain teeth, such as coffee, tea, and red wine, and practicing good oral hygiene can help prolong the results of teeth whitening treatments.

When performed by a qualified dental professional or using dentist-approved at-home kits, teeth whitening is generally considered safe. However, some individuals may experience temporary side effects such as tooth sensitivity or gum irritation. It’s important to follow the instructions carefully and consult with a dentist before starting any whitening treatment, especially if you have underlying dental issues such as cavities or gum disease.

Radio Frequency Microneedling

RF Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. During the procedure, a device with fine needles is used to create microscopic punctures in the skin’s surface. At the same time, radiofrequency energy is delivered into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin. This dual-action approach can improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimize pores, and enhance overall skin tone and elasticity.

While individual pain tolerance may vary, most people describe RF Microneedling as tolerable discomfort. Before the procedure, a topical numbing cream is usually applied to minimize any discomfort. During the treatment, you may feel a sensation of pressure, heat, or tingling as the device is passed over the skin. Afterward, some redness, swelling, and mild tenderness in the treated area are common, but these side effects typically subside within a few days.

The number of RF Microneedling sessions needed varies depending on individual skin concerns and treatment goals. Most people undergo a series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to achieve optimal results. Improvement in skin texture and firmness can typically be seen within a few weeks after the first treatment.

Emsculpt Neo

EMSCULPT NEO is the first and only non-invasive body shaping procedure that uses radiofrequency heating for fat reduction and high intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM®) for muscle strengthening and toning in a 30-minute session. The end result is more fat reduction and muscle growth than any single gold standard product, for
less time and less money. Best of all, EMSCULPT NEO has a broad patient appeal, as it can treat patients up to BMI 35.

EMSCULPT NEO is based on an applicator simultaneously emitting synchronized RF and HIFEM+ energies. Due to
the radiofrequency heating, the muscle temperature quickly raises by several degrees. This prepares muscles for
exposure to stress, similar to what a warm-up activity does before any workout. In less than 4 minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches levels that cause apoptosis, i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body.

EMSCULPT NEO procedure is simple and easy. There is no pre-preparation required for this procedure. You will lay down while the applicators are applied over the treatment area for 30 minutes. During the treatment you may feel intense yet tolerable muscle contractions along with heating sensation which is comparable to hot stone massage. Once the procedure is completed, you can immediately get back to your daily routine.

CoolSculpting

The CoolSculpting applicator is applied to one area of unwanted focal fat at a time. This typically involves one or more of the following areas: abdomen, hips, bra-fat, inner/outer thighs, or chin. Using vacuum suction, the device gently draws tissue with unwanted fat into a chamber. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the treatment area, and the fat cells undergo “cryolypolysis” (cell death) due to freezing, while the surrounding tissue is unharmed. Approximately 25% of the exposed fat cells will be permanently destroyed, for significant body contouring improvement.

There is some mild, temporary discomfort due to the initiation of strong suction and extreme cold. You may experience sensations of pulling, mild pinching, tingling, stinging or cramping. However, as the temperature falls, there is a numbing effect and most patients sit comfortably during the treatment reading, watching television, or even napping. There may be some hypersensitivity of the skin in the treated area post-treatment, but this general disappears in several days.

The total number of fat cells in your body is constant once you reach adulthood. These cells will get bigger or smaller as you gain or lose weight, but the number of cells remains the same. CoolSculpting destroys fat cells in the treated area and they are eliminated for good.

CoolSculpting is a contouring or sculpting procedure that modifies the distribution of fat cells to change the shape of your body. Results are not related to weight and CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution. It is a tool to eliminate diet and exercise resistant fat pockets. The closer you are to your ideal body weight, the more you will see your CoolSculpting results. We recommend a healthy lifestyle that includes proper diet and exercise to augment and support your CoolSculpting results.
